I accompanied him on the Sunday outdoor in Delhi too. Ajay's body has shaped out very well and his strength and stamina level has shot up. I am a hard taskmaster but sometimes when I see him pushing himself too much I tell him to stop." Devgan's workout schedule consists of an hour and 15 minutes of pure weight training which is followed y by cardio. Working it "In the one hour of weight training we don't take rest. Ajay does his cardio by himself. I train him and we work out together every day. I want him to look like John Travolta or Kurt Russel," adds the trainer. So is Devgan also trying for six-pack abs? Shereveer says, "Yes, even Ajay is working towards that but we are not hurrying up for it. Anybody can get six-pack abs by not eating, doing lots of cardio and other things. It's not a big deal." The trainer elaborates, "Ajay feels it's more important to get a complete physical shape, good arms, chest, shoulders and then six-pack abs. There is no point in getting six-pack abs where your face looks bad. One can get it in 60 days if you just control your fat intake and do cardio, but then you lose your muscle tone, your energy level dips and your strength gets lowered. I am working on Ajay getting a solid muscular lean look where the whole is better than just some parts. This way he has training power, agility and endurance and a hot body!" Impressive Shereveer says Ajay is a strict disciplinarian when it comes to food. "If Ajay is given a diet he will follow it to the T. His meal plan is very healthy and is changed on a weekly basis." The trainer elaborates on the diet. "The meal is low on carbs in the evening and night and we load up on carbs after every workout. Once in a week Ajay gets gets to eat what he wants like Coca Cola and French fries. He loves food but he"s not a big eater."

The Bollywood actor is perhaps the biggest star the festival has had yet. Small wonder, then, that he stole the show. Ajay Devgan alongside director Vishal Bhardwaj, producer Kumar Mangat and writer Robin Bhatt (brother of Mahesh Bhatt) had come to Karachi for the first time and film aficionados of this city greeted their presence with wonderment. The Arts Council was filled to capacity. People outside were trying to cajole Kara volunteers into selling them a pass. Inside, people were waiting to catch a glimpse of Ajay Devgan, reports a leading Pakistani Tabloid. Due to a delay in flight, Ajay and the team of OMKARA arrived at the very end of the film but as soon as Ajay walked in, a huge round of applause resonated from the crowd. After the film finished, festival director Hasan Zaidi humorously commented that he had never seen so many people sit through closing credits. He then invited the Indian guests to the stage and it was then that one got a good look at Ajay. In a dull gray suit, Ajay looked like a complete star. He waved to everyone as they clapped, hooted, and whistled. Some girls even screamed. At one point, Ajay said to the crowd, 'You have to stop or we'll go mad.' Ajay Devgan spoke of how it had been just two hours since his arrival and the way he had been welcomed was overwhelming. Hasan Zaidi in a moment of gratitude thanked the Indian delegation for coming to Karachi and also thanked Mahesh Bhatt, who was right at home in the audience, for making it possible. Once the Q&A session began, the team of Omkara was bombarded with questions. One woman sitting in the audience said to the director that because of the language used in the film, she was unable to see it with her family. Vishal responded in quick wit and said, 'Don't come with families.' On a serious note, he explained that the film was for mature audiences and should be seen by them alone. Ajay Devgan was asked many questions including how he chose a film and he simply responded that it depended on the story. When asked what was his favourite scene in Omkara, he said it was up to the audiences to decide as they could tell where he was bad or good. In a moment of spontaneity, he said, 'If I'm not good in a certain scene, I didn't feel it. I try to feel everything!' One girl took on the mike and told Ajay that she loved him and blew him a kiss; another girl took the opportunity of singing a song along with her twin sister to Ajay. When she asked permission to sing, Hasan Zaidi looked skeptical but Ajay being a complete sport asked her to go ahead. OMKARA, based on Shakespeare's Othello, was also received well by the audiences. Even though most people in the audience had seen the film before, it was the presence of the Indian stars that resulted in a sold-out show. Before the Q&A session finished, Ajay was told by one fan that the film was great and they all missed Kajol. Ajay sweetly said that we would love to come and shoot here. He said that he would convey their message to her. Saif Ali Khan was also expected at the premiere but he couldn't make it. He won the best villain award for OMKARA. In all OMKARA won 3 awards- Best adapted screenplay, Best music direction and best villain.

iris: Сегодня нашла прикол. В поисках новостей шарила по интернету, но ничего пока нет. И вот нашла упоминание имени Аджая на одном блоге. Это - дневник одной девушки, там она пишет друзьям о событиях дня. Подробно описывает, что произошло с ней в выходные - субботу и воскресенье. А завершает ее рассказ описание странных снов. Не только нам Адажйка во сне снистся!!! Вобщем, все я не даю, только конец: ~ Ночь было не такой хорошей. Я спала, и проснулась рано утром после ряда тревожных снов. В одном из у меня началась страшная болезнь кожи, кожа слезла с моей спины (и я понимаю, что ношение одежды с открытой спинкой останется нереализованной мечтой), в другом я скучаю, проводив моего друга (потому что я медицины на спине), еще один когда я вижу гимнастка, красиво исполняющую номер и случайно попадающую судье на колени (и это не смешно!). Последний (что я помню) был о том, меня избивают несколько хулиганов на дороге. Банда нападает на меня и моего друга, после чего Аджай Девган приходит к нам на помощь. Как Вы думаете, как Фрейд смог бы это интерпретировать?? Я надеюсь, что день будет менее драматичным. Счастливого понедельника, ребята! источник The weekend in snippet July 27, 2009 I had a wonderful weekend. ~ Saturday morning and afternoon was spent shopping shamelessly. I got clothes, chappals and a nose ring, none paid by credit card. Yay!! ~ I ate ice-cream at a friend’s wedding on Saturday evening and realised much much later about my diet resolutions. But then, a single scoop of vanilla can’t be too harmful, I guess. ~ Sunday morning I struggled to fit in the goddamn nose ring and hurt myself. The nose is still hurting and the new ring did not finally fit! ~ Yesterday afternoon I answered my mock test, did fairly OK. What I love about these tests is that at least one of those four comprehensions will be some good matter to read. I don’t mind getting their answers wrong if I enjoy reading the passage. Yesterday’s had a nice philosophical one on morality and different views of the ‘Right’ and the ‘Wrong’. ~ After the test, I met a friend, Hero’s friend-turned-mine. (and stayed his too). We did some window shopping and ate momos. Then we walked miles and miles, yapping all along. We entered a cafe, where we found a nice corner to sit in. It was more of a place meant for couples to get all cozy but we both stuck our asses there while the couples gave us dirty stares for kind of taking their place ( even after its all legal now!!). ~ A good hour and a half was spent at the cafe with all girl-talk while lazily sipping away milkshakes and coffees. Boys & boyfriends, clothes, weather, molestation, marriage, food, parties, books, love, teenage. All was discussed in detail that only girls can understand. ~ The night wasn’t so good. I slept early and woke up this morning to a series of disturbing dreams. One was me getting some terrible skin disease with all skin peeling off my back (and I realise wearing backless stuff will remain an unfulfilled dream), another where I miss to see off my friend ( because I have medicine on my back), one more where I see a gymnast performing beautifully and accidentally falling into the judge’s lap ( and it wasn’t funny!). The last one (that I remember) was of me beating up some pervert on the road. His gang then attacks me and my friend, after which Ajay Devgan comes to our rescue. It happened to Ajay Devgan and Kajol, a couple notorious for turning up their nose at the media. But the day Ajay sat on the publicity campaign of his first film U Me Aur Hum, the Devgans became the most media-savvy twosome in town. Ajay, who hates photo sessions, even did long shoots for fashion magazines! It happened again on Thursday at the swank, newly-opened PVR in Phoenix Mills, Mumbai, when Saif Ali Khan strode down the cinema hall just before the press show of his first production, Love Aaj Kal, started, and heroine Deepika Padukone did the same, while long-haired director Imtiaz Ali asked whether a scribe had got her popcorn. Said Saif to me, “Turning producer has been such fun. I didn’t realise it while shooting because there I was just an actor. But in the later stages, choosing the fonts, the colours, the publicity design and so on has been such a wonderful experience. And once you work with your own team, you begin to wonder how you’re going to work for any other producer. It’s like asking someone if he’d like to sleep in someone else’s bedroom or in his own!” When an actor-producer is articulate to boot, the effect is even better. It’s a fair guess that after this experience of sleeping in his own bed, Saif will not be tempted to work outside his banner unless the offer is hugely tempting. The night before Saif’s press show, bhajan singer Anup Jalota turned 56. On July 29, the birthday boy had much to celebrate. Anup and Medha have always loved attending and throwing parties, especially musical soirees. When their son Aryaman was born, they had Pandit Jasraj (Medha was his student) doing a live concert in their terrace apartment in Shivaji Park. When Anup hit the half-century mark six years ago, all his close singer buddies like Hariharan and Talat Aziz turned the party into a lively, impromptu musical evening. Last Wednesday night was no different. Pankaj and Farida Udhas, Talat Aziz (with attractive artist-wife Bina), Hariharan (with his ponytail) and Ila Arun (with husband and daughter) were all there to listen to a superb qawali recital. From top cop Javed Ahmed and industrialist Harsh Goenka to Poonam Dhillon, Neena Gupta (with her new husband), and filmmakers Ramesh Sippy and Ravi Chopra, it was a robust party. Looking at the superb organisation that went into hosting so many people, few would’ve guessed that Anup and Medha have actually been battling destiny to stay together as a couple. Nope, there’s no marital discord out here but keeping Medha alive against all odds has taken up the better part of a decade. A few years ago, Medha was so critically ill that she had to spend an entire year in America to get a heart transplant. And now, for over a year, Medha has been in renal failure, requiring dialysis three times a week. But the fighter that she is, she grins, “Three times a week it’s dialysis. The other four days are mine for me to live it up!” After a failed marriage to filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, Medha finally found her soulmate in Anup, who in turn had gone through two divorces. It does seem unfair that after so much turbulence in their respective lives, just when they’d found complete compatibility in each other, they’ve had to spend a major portion of their married life in ICUs and hospital beds. What makes it more poignant is that Anup and Medha are both madly in love with each other even after 14 years of marriage. There’s an easy camaraderie in this marriage. So much so that once, while talking about how comforting it was to leave Aryaman in Mumbai in the care of a trusted old domestic help called Ramchandra when she had to be in America for months on end for her treatment, Medha casually laughed, ‘Ramchandra has been here in this house even before me. He came in with Sonali (Anup’s first wife) as part of her dowry!” Sometime during last Diwali, Medha was once again in such a precarious condition that even her doctors had prepared themselves for the worst. Seven months later, she was able to throw a party for Anup’s birthday. There certainly was more than one reason for the Jalotas to celebrate on July 29.

Тут уж ему отмазываться нельзя было - никто, кроме него, не стал бы этим заниматься. Но в статье идет речь о продюсерстве. Продюсером Аджай стал впервые в 1998 году, в первом проекте, выпускаемом под его собственным баннером - фильме Pyar To Hona Hi Tha. И потом у него было еще немало таких проектов. В начале 2000-х годов он продюсировал телесериалы. И все продюсерские проекты Кумара Мангата можно считать Аджаевыми, к ним он имеет прямое отношение. И некоторые проекты Рам Гопала Варма, Аджай его компаньон. Так что авторам таких статей надо бы для начала хотя бы познакомиться с вопросом, о котором они пишут. А то, что фотосессии ненавидит - он ведь актер, у него фоосессия перед каждым фильмом.
